I don't think the filmmakers for Dr. Seuss's Horton Hears a Who are evil or that they deliberately set out to send an awful message. But somehow it seems worse that they didn't notice.

Because of the nature of the problems experienced by black Americans, Americans have to pay for issues that they didn't cause and shouldn't have to fix. But nonetheless we are stuck with the tab.
