Last week Matt Moore, a blogger for the Christian Post and an advocate of the "ex-gay" movement, was discovered actively using the gay hookup app Grindr. Moore wants to stop others from engaging in a life of homosexual sin, yet he is trolling Grindr, presumably looking for gay sex.

By propagating the dangerous and discredited "ex-gay" myth through his writings and activism, Moore has legitimized a culture of religion-based bigotry that causes many vulnerable LGBT youth to experience depression and anxiety, abuse drugs and attempt suicide.
