McClellan's assertions are certainly not good news for the McCain campaign, which would prefer to engage in a linear conversation about Iraq than to get bogged down in its inception.

If McClellan had cared about the public interest or the public need to know about such manipulation in marketing war then he should have spoken up when it had a personal cost. That is courage.

It's easy for McClellan to bash his former boss when the latter has already been leveled by his own bald-faced incompetence. He should've said something a couple of years ago, when it would've mattered.
