In the first five months of 2012, the anti-choice House leadership has lined up no fewer than five separate bills with anti-choice provisions for floor action. It's amazing they can keep a straight face when they say there's no War on Women.

Because of gender bias and sex discrimination, there are an estimated 160,000,000 girls and women missing from the planet today. This isn't man-bashing or "victim feminism." It's just a documented statement of fact. By virtually any measure, this is dystopian.

Known as "PRENDA," the latest version of this bill would ban abortions performed on the basis of sex. If itbecomes law, a doctor or nurse who suspects that a patient is seeking a sex-selective abortion would be required to report her to authorities.

PRENDA, the so-called "Susan B. Anthony and Frederick Douglass Prenatal Nondiscrimination Act," would have a chilling effect on reproductive choice for every woman in this country.
