Obama can't wait for the fact-checkers. The people need to hear directly from his mouth. As soon as the moderator says, "Mr. President, you have five minutes," they need to hear, "Everything he said is a lie, and here is the truth."
On Tuesday, Oct. 9, the George Washington University Graduate School of Political Management (GSPM) released the 10th installment of its weekly Horse Race poll, which found that Gov. Romney's campaign bested President Obama's campaign for the first time in a month.
Ultimately what is offensive is not Obama's 2007 speech, but the way that right-wing pundits have resorted to a brazen strategy of stoking racial resentment, and trying to create a distraction by accusing the president of doing the same thing.
Instead, Romney is still ducking the tough questions. At the Univision forum, he was asked about Obama's "deferred-action" plan for undocumented youth. Despite being repeatedly pressed by the moderators, Romney wouldn't say whether he would continue or cancel the policy as president.
