Online education is growing at an exponential rate. If this continues, not only will our children not be as intelligent, they will not have learned appropriate social skills. Students at a young age need living, breathing teachers.
My first thoughts about my own happiness were immature: happiness is having a boyfriend, being pretty, having friends, etc. But I stopped myself, and pictured what I want my life to look like in 20 years.
So Rudolph is born special. He has a special gift and is super amazing. But not all the reindeer see that. So the reindeer choose that the only way to handle something like that is to reject it. They laugh at Rudolph and hurt his feelings.
In my opinion, fear is the driving factor for students' desire for perfection. What if I fail this test? What if I don't have enough extracurriculars? What will my parents say? Will I get into college?
