Thanksgiving 2010: Much to Be Grateful for

Arianna Huffington | Posted 11.17.2011 | Healthy Living

Arianna Huffington

Happy Thanksgiving, HuffPosters! Even as the economic hard times continue -- exacerbated by Congress' unwillingness to extend unemployment benefits -- there is much to be thankful for. I'm thankful Wesley Snipes and Charlie Rangel don't do my taxes. I'm thankful that I'm not traveling this week, so it will be a no-junk-groped Thanksgiving. I'm thankful for the explosion of creativity and compassion aimed at preventing Third World America that I saw all around the country on my book tour. I'm thankful my daughters are home from college for the holidays. I'm thankful that my first three months as an empty-nester have allowed for a crazier work schedule, but with more sleep, meditating, and working out integrated into even the craziest days. And I'm very thankful for our amazing and fast-growing HuffPost team and our passionate, engaged community. How about you? What are you thankful for? Let us know in the comments section.
