Legendary musician Glenn Frey passed away Monday in New York City at the age of 67. Best known as one of the founders of the Eagles--winners of six Grammys and one of the most successful bands of all time--Frey also enjoyed tremendous solo success with songs like "The Heat Is On" and "You Belong to the City."

Back in 2012, he visited our show for a powerful two-part conversation that we will not soon forget. He had just released his first solo project in almost twenty years titled After Hours, a wonderful collection of standards and classics that would turn out to be, in fact, his last.

In the clip below, Frey spoke on what he made of fans' abiding love for the Eagles over forty years later.
