First Ebay seems to have screwed up and cost YearlyKos, now this. The Washington Post is publicizing YearlyKos as a "panderfest" for the 2008 presidential candidates. Yeah, that's it, bloggers are really soft on their '08 candidates. Are these guys kidding?

34 days: The primary panderfest converges in Chicago for the YearlyKos "presidential leadership forum" on Aug. 4. So far, Hillary Clinton is a no-show at the liberal blog-o-rama. -- Washington Post

I assure you, there is no "panderfest" being prepared for the candidates at YearlyKos. I'll address that more in the future. But it's obvious the Washington Post has no idea what they are talking about. Also, maybe the lack of a "panderfest" is why Candidate Clinton has not accepted the invitation yet. Clinton has shown she can handle whatever is thrown at her, so she should definitely accept. I'll let you know if I find out something concrete on Clinton.

As for the Washington Post, maybe they should do some homework on the YearlyKos panel planned for the '08 candidates before spouting off. Their "countdown" assessment is just dead wrong.

Oh and by the way, I've got confirmation from Gina Cooper that the Post didn't call her for comment or to get specifics about the panel before they pronounced the presidential forum at YearlyKos a "panderfest." After all, it's not like this event is important to primary candidates.

There goes that big bad liberal media helping Democrats yet again. Right.
