You can either have this purse or a future!

Here is an old, used bag that costs more than a college education, even on sale.

OK, fine, "on sale" in this instance means it auctioned for $298,000, which is slightly below the $360,000 asking price. And, yeah, it's probably never been used, but it is resold from 2008 (read: not even vintage yet). But just to be clear, it's still worth more than even four years at a private school, like Harvard, attendance at which currently retails at $238,200 (or $59,550 per year).

According to Vogue, the material is rouge croc skin accompanied by 18-karat white gold and diamond hardware. So, yeah, that sounds too beautiful and precious to ever use in real life, meaning this bag will probably be sitting in a glass case in a museum-like mansion as an eternal symbol of income inequality for only the anonymous Los Angeles buyer and her friends to ever even see.

It's mind-blowing, really. That said, if you or someone you know can afford this purse or anything even remotely as expensive as this purse, feel free to DM me on Twitter if you also feel like paying off my student debt. Thanks!
