In an attempt to quell the naysayers of their "More Colorful" slogan, NBC cut right to the chase and unveiled another new tagline: "More Blacks and Gays."
"The public needs to know that we're not just catering to straight white 30-somethings," said Joe Johnson of NBC's marketing department. "As our ratings show, straight white 30-somethings don't like TV. Blacks and gays love it."
The new slogan accompanies a shift in the programming. In addition to a merger with the CW, NBC has signed a deal with popular black man, Tyler Perry.
Referring to Perry, Johnson exclaimed: "I've never seen any of his shows, but my one black friend sort of likes him."
A source revealed that Perry will replace Tracy Morgan on 30 Rock, explaining that "Morgan is loved by white people, which is why he's being replaced."
The soon to be christened "Tyler Perry's NBC" has yet to strike any new deals that will appeal to homosexuals, but the network's higher-ups felt that the colorful peacock will do the trick.
"Gays love rainbows," added Johnson. "It was staring us right in the face. Plus, they can get their fix on our gay cable channel, Bravo."

Oh, it's about time.
Dang...He is HOTTTTT.
Oops...com mented on the wrong story. Those d@mn aliens!
It has long baffled me why broadcast TV in the USA has so many white characters.
NBC series like Friends and Seinfeld gave the impression that the population of New York is almost entirely white and straight. Frazier told us that Seattle is very white and very straight, even though some of the key actors in it were gay. Even Will and Grace was about white folks living in a New York populated almost entirely by white folks.
White folks are a minority in California (especially in Los Angeles) but NBC shows are populated predominantly by white actors with the occasional token black actor to show diversity. Where are all the asians and latinos? Where are all the mixed race families? Where are all the gays?
Come on NBC, produce some shows with a character mix that reflects the real world.
How about some fat people, old people? Everyone on TV these days looks like posers in a music video. It's boring. I honestly was not able to tell one character from another. I quit watching network tv (except The Office).
I KNEW that NBC peaCOCK tail was a covert sign for the LGBT RAINBOW!
:-)
THIS IS RIDICULOUS !!!!!!!!..
