82nd & Fifth: IN THE VOID by Betsy Kornhauser

Posted: 06/20/2013 5:59 pm

Sanford Gifford uses infinitesimal brushstrokes to focus the viewer's attention on this grand gorge, as it was called at the time, in the Catskill Mountains. Discover wonderful details in Gifford's painting, including a small house with a plume of smoke rising from its chimney.
