Did you know that a boy, a model in Michelangelo's studio, posed for this study, which was to depict a female, the figure of the Libyan Sibyl? To curator Carmen Bambach, the boy's personality is captured in this drawing. "I can see the humanity in a way, the figure breathing," she says.
