The Liberal Media Up to Its Old Tricks

My frustration with this President's terrible treatment of Israel and his concurrent support of Muslims and Arab dictatorships is well known. So imagine my surprise and irritation when I sawmagazine's most recent cover.

"All successful newspapers are ceaselessly querulous and bellicose. They never defend anyone or anything if they can help it; if the job is forced on them, they tackle it by denouncing someone or something else."
H. L. Mencken (1880-1956)

The Liberal media in America continues to think it's a good strategy to deviously support their cherished Liberal politicians while always talking about some vague, previously crucial but now meaningless concept they call "journalistic integrity." Trust me on this: I've been involved in this business long enough to know, it's male bovine fecal matter.

The latest blatant distortion of reality comes from New York magazine. Now I live in New York, so I'm very familiar with this particular publication. Great for finding nightlife, movies, Broadway shows and cultural events, however New York magazine has never been a place I would go for good political commentary. Or even mediocre political commentary. Most often, horrible drivel.

Is that insane?

Really? Obama's "The First Jewish President?" Give me a break. Doesn't this sound eerily reminiscent of Bill Clinton's absurdly stretched title, "The First Black President?" Both are media manipulations of the highest and most egregious order. (See this article for a refresher on how "The First Black President" treated Ron Brown, Clinton's 'marquee' African-American Secretary of Commerce.)

John Heilemann, who wrote this preposterous piece of pseudo-journalism is an inveterate GOP-screecher and Obama suck-up.

When Heilemann's not writing the most wicked, unsubstantiated, ludicrous 'critiques' of Perry, Palin and Bachmann, he can be found hunched over his desk somewhere, figuring out how to dupe innocent New York magazine readers into thinking Obama's something he's decidedly not. Presidential.

In his 8-page epic piece apparently designed more to feed Heilemann's ego than Obama's, the author seems very clued in to the fact that Obama's lost 28 points, according to recent polls, in the crucial (for Obama) Jewish vote. Coincidence a big splashy cover story runs on Obama now? A 'weighty' piece? Hardly.

I never understood why anybody who is Jewish would vote for Barack Hussein Obama; it just doesn't make any sense. None. One would easily and reasonably surmise that if anyone was against BHO, it would be someone who is Jewish.

So now starts the media onslaught to shore up Obama's plummeting numbers; and what better way to mislead, misinform and brainwash unsuspecting, Jewish (New York and other) voters than with a big, splashy, deluding cover story article misrepresenting the facts and perverting the truth? Of course, we should be used to it by now.

Let us investigate Al Jazeera's take on this cover. See how the Arab Muslims use Heilemann's cover story to their advantage? "Barack Obama is the best thing Israel has going for itself right now?" it blares in the sub headline and is followed directly by, "Why is that so difficult for Netanyahu and his American Jewish allies to understand?" Heilemann goes on to ask with a clearly disingenuous agenda. That is "so difficult for Netanyahu to understand," because it's clearly not true.

Both of these scrawled red herrings would be laughable if they didn't have such dire, potential consequences for Israel and America.

What are you, Mr. Heilemann, insane? Or just a puppet of the liberal left. Of course, that's never been in question.

See how his creating the misperception, the surreal idea that Obama is Israel's best friend--when he's quite the opposite, Obama's made them his very personal enemy--is not even enough for Al Jazeera? This network--if one can call it that--appeals to radical Muslims who want to make Israel go away, there's no doubt about that.

Perhaps instead of obsequiously following Obama, alternating between writing puff pieces on this troubling President and attack pieces on his political opponents, Mr. Heilemann might want to join the rest of us in reality and start writing about the real current political situation: Obama's in serious trouble.

Nah, he'll never do that. It wouldn't support his flawed, fossilized, Liberal political positions. Plus, his Liberal pals wouldn't publish it. What a shame.
