Coleman v Franken: The Appeal, June 1, 9 AM

digg Share this on Facebook Huffpost - stumble reddit del.ico.us RSS

A reminder for all you Minnesota Senate race junkies that Coleman's presenting his appeal tomorrow, Monday, June 1, at 9 AM. You'll all recognize that stuffy little room: it's the same place the Election Contest was, though you'll see different faces in the judges' chairs. The UpTake will have it live, along with the usual wordy press conferences and commentary. You can tune in there, and join the blog, too, if you'd like.

Rumors say that the judges will roll out their decision around the 4th of July, though there isn't substance to that particular date. The bigger question will be: will Pawlenty - now rumored to be running for Prez - sign the certificate?

There aren't enough superlatives in the New Oxford American Dictionary to describe the Yeoman's effort of TheUpTake.Org, to provide complete and comprehensive coverage of the Minnesota Senate Race and subsequent events leading to the pending decision of the Minn Supreme Court in the matter of Coleman v. Franken.
The Recount and the Election Contest owes its complete transparency because TheUpTake.Org MADE the proceedings transparent with its comprehensive coverage.
During the process to count disputed ballots brought before the Canvassing Board; we got to SEE a close-up of each ballot is question.
When the Canvassing Board declared Al Franken the winner; those following the proceeding on TheUpTake.Org knew before others read the Headlines.
Their gavel to gavel coverage was superb and uninterrupted.

Let it not be said by anyone involved that the process was not fully transparent. Beacuse, TheUpTake's coverage and Live blogging made following the entire process a joy for those who took interest in the drama that heated-up the long Minnesota winter.

Thank you very much ... everyone associated with TheUpTake.Org
There should be some Award for you.
My words are not enough.
You guys are GREAT. Thank you.

(Those who enjoyed the coverage provided by TheUpTake.Org are encouraged to visit their web site and make a small contribution in thanks for all they did bringing us every moment of Coleman v. Franken)
