Today's Washington Post expands our knowledge of the probable sources of some of the flooding of the Eastern side of NO and adjoining St. Bernard Parish--the so-called Mr. Go, a shortcut to the Gulf of Mexico that has been a wet white elephant, but which has been stoutly defended by the Port of New Orleans and....the Army Corps of Engineers. One day, the full story of the Corps and its effect on the American environment will be written, and this will be a nice big chapter.
