Remember all those spooky coincidences between Lincoln and JFK? Lincoln was shot at The Ford Theater; Kennedy was shot in a Ford car, etc. (see http://theshadowlands.net/jfk.htm)

Well, check this out. Scooter Libby and Lil’ Kim have almost as many parallels.

For instance, Lil’ Kim is currently imprisoned for lying to a grand jury. Scooter Libby is being accused of lying to a grand jury.

Both Lil Kim and Libby are writers.

Lil Kim’s lyrics include the line “You wanna meet me cause ya, know I'm freaky/ And ya, wanna eat me cause ya, say I'm sexy/ Got a man in Japan and a dude in Tahiti...” Scooter Libby wrote The Apprentice, a novel involving bestiality, pedophilia, rape and incest that took place in Japan.

Both of their recent published writings make frequent reference to Bush.

Because of the law, Kim lives in a Philadelphia Federal Prison. As a Philadelphia lawyer, Libby often argued federal cases.

Both got into their predicament after a visit to the media. Kim visited the radio station Hot 97. Libby talked with a New York Times reporter, the Hot Judith Miller.

Both have made up first names ("Lil’" and "Scooter", really Kimberly and Lewis) and both have made up last names ("Kim" and "Libby", really Jones and Liebowitz.)

Both their names, Lil’ Kim and Scooter Libby, sound eerily like prison nicknames.

Lil Kim’s lies to the grand jury were related to a shooting incident in which one American man was wounded. Libby’s apparent lies to the grand jury were related to a shooting incident in which one American man was wounded, along with 8,287 other American men and women. (Additionally, in Libby's shooting incident, 2,257 American men were also killed, so were 26,931 Iraqis.)

The man who was injured in the Lil' Kim incident had nothing to do with Nigerian Yellow Cake or the tragedy of 9/11. Neither did the thousands of men, women and children who have died in Iraq.
