Sarah Palin Would Trade Her Hunting Rifle for Nuclear Missles

In the past week a vocal chorus of Republican and Conservative voices have endorsed Barack Obama sharing a concern that Sarah Palin is not ready to be president.

Colin Powell yesterday stated, "I don't believe she's ready to be president of the United States, which is the job of the vice president."

Other conservatives such as Peggy Noonan have focused in on Governor Palin being unprepared for the presidency.

Noonan wrote this weekend in the Wall Street Journal:

We have seen Mrs. Palin on the national stage for seven weeks now, and there is little sign that she has the tools, the equipment, the knowledge or the philosophical grounding one hopes for, and expects, in a holder of high office.

Truth be told I believe they share the same fear of millions of Americans who are scared at the thought of a "President" Palin having her finger on the nation's nuclear trigger.

Remember when Governor Palin told Katie Couric:

As Putin rears his head and comes into the air space of the United States of America, where do they go? It's Alaska. It's just right over the border. It is from Alaska that we send those out to make sure that an eye is being kept on this very powerful nation, Russia, because they are right next to, they are right next to our state.

Imagine for moment that she was viewing Putin not through the scope on her hunting rifle but in the National Security Crisis Room with her finger on the "button." Scary!!!
