Each year, all of Coconut Grove, Florida comes out to party and enjoy each other. It's a block party reminiscent of times gone by. On Gifford Lane, everybody knows your name.

Each spring the neighbors of Gifford Lane put on the Gifford Lane Art Stroll. It's a charity event that features local artists selling their work, food, live music and everyone's favorite -- Cucumber Punch, a bright green elixir that is free to all for the price of a tip for charity. It's ladled out from someone's kitchen and gallons are consumed during the day.

Most people at the stroll are Grovites, who stroll, visit and sit around and shoot the breeze. It really is an old-fashioned sort of day that everyone looks forward to each year. It's the way things used to be.
