WHAT'S HAPPENING
Airstrikes hit 112 Syrian medical facilities in 2015 and 13 so far this year.
The deadly bombing is just the latest to hit a hospital supported by the aid group in Syria.
The organization says it is the third severe incident in 3 months.
The Pentagon said the involved soldiers have been suspended.
There are mounting indications the U.S. military relied heavily on Afghan allies who resented the internationally run Doctors Without Borders hospital.
"MSF doctors and other medical staff were shot while running to reach safety in a different part of the compound."
