Cornell, Columbia and Brown universities all reported threats on Sunday. The alerts followed similar threats made at Yale and schools in Ohio in recent days.
“This announcement is a massive victory for activists and for the planet,” Divest Harvard, a student- and alumni-led group, wrote.
"I’ve remembered with persistent fury how he spoke to me that spring day."
The Supreme Court asked the Justice Department to weigh in on an appeal claiming that Harvard discriminates against Asian American applicants.
The justices could say as soon as Monday whether they will hear an appeal claiming that Harvard discriminates against Asian American applicants.
"It is once again this issue of just not putting up with being disrespected," the prominent racial justice activist and scholar told The Boston Globe.
The research will likely amplify calls to rapidly transition off of oil, gas and coal for reasons beyond curbing climate change.
The lawsuit was filed in October under the Trump administration.
