lady antebellum

The group was set to start the tour on Aug. 13 in Nashville.
The name game started in 2020, when the country trio dumped the “Antebellum” part of its name because of its associations with pre-Civil War slavery.
In an interview with Billboard, country icon Dolly Parton spoke out in support of the Black Lives Matter movement, saying, “Of course Black lives matter. Do we think our little white asses are the only ones that matter? No!”
The trio drops the word that is a nickname for the South and is linked to the Confederacy.
The country band announced last week it's renaming itself "Lady A" -- the same name a Seattle singer has been using for more than 20 years.
The band apologized to fans for the ties its previous name had to the Civil War and slavery and promised to practice anti-racism.
“Everybody just kind of panicked, and didn’t really know where to go, or what to do."
Darius Rucker, Jana Kramer and Chris Young all had their say.
The country music group might need a bigger tour bus!
