Lydia Wahlstrom's family wanted to make sure she wouldn't miss out on the experience of a lifetime.

The students were leaving Antigo High School when they were wounded by a suspect armed with a rifle, police said.

"It came while I was at school and my dad decided to take it out of the box and try it on!"
