Denver has been pushing forward for more than a year. I used to feel all Pollyanna when I'd project optimistic statistics, now I feel elated they've come to fruition.

We have it pretty good here in the Mile High City. 2013 has seen an amazing recovery in the Denver housing market, leading the nation in price increase and stability. No room for slackers, realtors have made the shift into overdrive to keep up with demand. Buyers came out, sellers caught on and listed their homes, confident that the worst was not only over but that they'd gained back their equity.

Long-term unemployment notwithstanding, Denver has been pushing forward for more than a year. And that's a lot to be thankful for.
