Portland, OR, has a reputation for hipsters, but its airport makes a positive impression on all kinds of travelers thanks to quality food and shopping options and the likelihood of an on-time departure. So, if your next itinerary includes PDX -- rated the nation's No. 1 airport -- consider yourself lucky.

That's the takeaway from the results of the World's Best Awards reader survey. For this online slideshow, Travel + Leisure editors tallied votes for a range of 67 major and regional airports in six categories: flight delays; design; food and drink; shopping; check-in; and location. The online list is broader than the coverage in Travel + Leisure magazine's November issue, which emphasized big-city airports.
