It's the most wonderful time of the year for television lovers -- fall TV premieres! Season finales left us on edge wondering how we could make it through summer with the futures of our favorite characters in limbo.

The final season of Breaking Bad has not only inspired church watch parties, but it's also prompted fans to head to Albuquerque -- the city where the AMC hit series films. Take a look at these shows that make us want to pull out our suitcases.

Scandal: Each Thursday night, legions of "Gladiators" take over TV and Twitter in support of this drama set in Washington, D.C. Even though the show is filmed in Los Angeles, it-girl Kerry Washington and the Fairmont Washington D.C., Georgetown Scandal package are enough to inspire us to book a trip to our nation's capital. Whether you want to head to Hollywood or snag one of our D.C. hotel deals -- as Olivia Pope says, "it's handled."

Scandal Premieres Thursday, Oct. 3, on ABC at 10/9c.

Survivor: Blood vs. Water: Never short on scenic locales, Survivor has taken viewers to Australia, Africa (check out our South Africa Featured Destination Page) and Brazil. As the 27th season of this reality TV favorite premieres, contestants are set to compete against their loved ones in the Philippines. Before the contestants can set up camp, you'll be looking for cheap flights to the Philippines. Our colleague shared her love for the Philippines in this post.

Survivor: Blood vs. Water premieres Wednesday, Sept. 18, on CBS at 8/7c.

Boardwalk Empire: Set in Atlantic City, New Jersey, this period drama not only makes us wish we could travel back in time, but it leaves us longing to hit the boardwalk for a less stereotypical experience than portrayed on the show. You won't be rubbing shoulders with the likes of Nucky Thompson (Steve Buscemi) or the reveling in the A.C. of old. Forbes says "those conceptions are being bucked, and a leaner, meaner casino town is shaping up--and for that, we're all winners." Cash in with our Atlantic City & Jersey Shore hotel deals.

Boardwalk Empire premiered Sunday, Sept. 8, on HBO at 9/8c.

Chicago Fire: As temperatures cool, autumn not only brings us new episodes of this TV drama, but it ushers in new reasons to fall in love with the Windy City. While the men and women of Firehouse 51 have us on the edge of our seats, we can't help but want to book a trip to explore some of Chicago's culture-rich neighborhoods. Stay and play along the Magnificent Mile with these deals found within Travelzoo's Chicago destination page.

Chicago Fire premieres Tuesday, Sept. 24, on NBC at 10/9c.

Homeland: Filmed in Charlotte and Raleigh, North Carolina along with surrounding areas, this thrilling Emmy-award winning series makes us want to indulge in an unorthodox Southern experience. While, intelligence officer Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes) is strictly business, Fodor's says "visiting Charlotte is much more of an urban experience than a down-home one, but that's all part of the fun of being in this bustling, forward-focused place." Take a look at these hotel deals in the Carolinas and local deals in Charlotte.

Homeland premieres Sunday, Sept. 29, on Showtime at 9/8c.
