Many of today's microbreweries are creating more sophisticated and specialized craft beers. These new boutique beers are often started by home-brew enthusiasts who are able to turn their passion into tangible businesses. Almanac Beer Company, a new startup brewery in San Francisco, California, is helping to pave this new path in brewing, using influences from the Bay Area's rich food culture to produce a truly unique beer.
