It seems that every month brings a big new development in San Francisco's tech scene, and with those developments comes more outcry that the city's working class isn't seeing the benefits of the re-configuring economy.

This is a reprise, to some extent, of what happened during San Francisco's first dot com boom back in the '90s. This time around, the changes extend beyond the Mission District and its periphery. Many young people who are part of the new economy see the transformation as natural and necessary, while others say it's disastrous for the city.
