Photos And Video From Barack Obama's Foreign Tour

I had my doubts about Obama's visit. I never thought that his visit could be motivational for the troops. By the looks of things they are genuinely happy to have him there.

Hope this visit works out as well for the troops as it will for Obama's campaign. posted 07/19/2008 at 21:55:39

Michelle made the mistake of interjecting her personal views into the campaign. She is not running for President. That said it would have served them better to have publicly voiced their displeasure with the direction of the Clinton Campaign just as Old Charlie did.

Republicans Taunt Obama As Spineless Over FISA Reversal

Swear as much as you want. Pull your hair out even. Obama is better off being in support of FISA . The only area McCain is viewed more favorably than Obama is in National Security. How would you feel to know that by not supporting FISA we have 4 more years of a Republican candidate with the likelihood of 8 more years of FISA?? At least we know that under Obama FISA will not be sent to Congress regardless of what he does today.

The overwhelming majority of Americans who VOTE do not mind FISA. Obama cannot win the election without independents and FISA matters to them. The idea that somehow the US is legalizing eavesdropping is so awful makes me wonder what world are you living in. Whether Congress approves it or not it is going to happen. McCain is the best and worst thing to happen the GOP (Gas and Oil Party) posted 06/23/2008 at 17:46:34
China and India's demand is as best net neutral when you factor in the added supply from Russia and Africa, plus with Brazil gone from a net importer of energy to an exporter, Demand and supply is not the problem.

Supply is a factor when their is a lack of oil. Their are adequate supplies to meet the current demand. It is not a supply and demand pricing effect. posted 06/23/2008 at 17:45:21
Two reasons for the high oil prices. Speculators aided by OPEC and the Wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The US Armed Forces are the largest users of petroleum products and they have upped their demand since the war. You can track the rise of the oil prices as the war showed no sign of ending.

The price of Oil and gas is caused by the GOP (Gas& Oil Party). posted 06/23/2008 at 17:35:36
Hey big head and no brains. Here is news for you. Brazil announced the finding of 2 substantial oil fields off sure. The price per barrel of oil went up by $20.00 since. The US Govt announced it is stop buying oil for the Strategic Oil Reserves, a significant reduction in demand. The price of oil still went up. Russia and quite a few African countries have been selling oil since Bush became President. The price of Oil still went up. The normal rules of Economics do not apply. This supply and demand crap is from the 70s. That is old school economics.
