Clint Eastwood and Jenna Jameson Endorse Mitt Romney with Varying Degrees of Flattery, Class

"When you're rich, you want a Republican in office," Jameson said while sipping champagne in a VIP room at Gold Club in San Francisco. And that, Clint Eastwood, is how you really endorse Mitt Romney.

Over his past four years as president, Barack Obama has amassed a number of celebrity supporters (and friends!) including, but not limited to, Oprah, George Clooney, Sarah Jessica Parker, Will Smith, Robert De Niro, and Scarlett Johansson. But which of Hollywood's elite would endorse this year's presumptive Republican nominee in his gaffe-laden lead-up to the 2012 presidential campaign? Two stars of varying credibility came forward over the weekend to join Team Romney. The first being Clint Eastwood, who spoke at a fundraiser in Sun Valley, Idaho, for the Victory Fund, a combined effort of the Romney campaign and the Republican National Committee, on Friday night.

Eastwood revealed that he first noticed the candidate while filming Mystic River in Massachusetts at the same time that Romney was running for governor. "I kept seeing him appear on television all the time and I said 'God this guy, he's too handsome to be governor, but he does look like he could be president.'" Eastwood added that Romney would "restore, hopefully, a decent tax system that we need badly... so that there's a fairness and people are not pitted against one another as to who's paying taxes and who isn't." Afterward, proving that Team Romney is familiar with Eastwood's filmography, or at least his IMDb quotes pages, the candidate joked that the endorsement "made my day."

A celebrity endorsement that may not have made Mitt Romney's day: porn star Jenna Jameson chose a San Francisco strip club to reveal her own voting plans. Presented without edit, from CBS San Francisco's genius report on the endorsement:

"I'm very looking forward to a Republican being back in office," Jameson said while sipping champagne in a VIP room at Gold Club in the city's South of Market neighborhood. "When you're rich, you want a Republican in office."

And that, Clint Eastwood, is how you really endorse Mitt Romney.
