Well it's a new year again and wow 2011 has flown by! Looking back at our successes over the last 12 months I feel proud and thankful for such a great year. As well as designing our collections, we have worked on some amazing projects in the last 12 months. Our jewellery was featured in the top music videos this year from Lady Gaga to Beyonce, we have collaborated with talented designers including Raf Simons at Jil Sander and presented a sparkling showcase "Redemption of Eve: Return to the Garden" in New York. In April we were honoured to find that a necklace from our Bossa Nova collection was worn by the Prime Minister's wife, Samantha Cameron, at the Royal Wedding. She looked stunning and our orange and red toned necklace created a great colour contrast with her emerald green dress. We received a lovely surprise when we discovered the 10 Downing Street Christmas card featured an image of Prime Minister David and wife Samantha Cameron at the Royal Wedding - so guess who's necklace is featured on the card!!

I spent a few weeks catching up with friends as the Christmas break approached. Although I have lived in London for a long time now, I never forget to celebrate Thanksgiving and love inviting my nearest and dearest for a traditional Thanksgiving feast at my home. My pumpkin pie is always a winner!

Elizabeth Street - the site of our Belgravia boutique - held a great Christmas street party and the mulled wine and carol singers really got me in the festive spirit! I also enjoyed a hilarious night out with friends at the Royal Festival Hall seeing the John Waters Christmas Show. His alternative Christmas spirit had us all in stitches!!

I left for the states to spend Christmas with my mother and family and then flew back to begin the New Year with a quick visit to the English countryside. Now it's back to work and straight into designing for the new collection! February's fashion week will be on us in a flash so I intend to savour the next few weeks of rest and celebration with my family and friends.
