This past weekend the New York City Gay Men's Chorus held their sixth production of the Big Gay Sing with special guest star, the original Weather Girl herself, Martha Wash. The theme was Club Night Out from Disco to today. Both nights were sold out shows. The chorus singers were exceptional and Martha Wash really "raised the roof" performing her classic hit "It's Raining Men" as well as two songs from her latest album (and a rare rendition of "Disco Heat" from her days with Sylvester and the Two Tons of Fun).

Next up the New York City Gay Men's Chorus will go international with another Big Gay Sing production in Dublin, Ireland in support of marriage equality hosted by Miss Panti Bliss. And Martha Wash is quite the busy diva of late as well. She was recently signed as a headline entertainer for the World Pride event in Toronto this summer, she's still getting accolades for her beautiful duet with RuPaul on his latest album, and Martha's new single "I'm Not Coming Down" with remixes by famed American DJ, Tony Moran (who was in attendance on Friday night at the Big Gay Sing) is set to drop on March 21st!
