Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, the Republican vice-presidential candidate, stunned observers by clearly winning her debate with Senator Joe Biden, the Democratic nominee.
Gov. Palin's surprising performance began with the first question, "How will Uyghur nationalism affect the future of the East Turkestan Islamic Movement?" Gov. Palin responded with a detailed history of separatism in Xinjiang province and a list of the home regions of Uyghur farmers, from Kashgaria to Uyghurstan. She then winked at the camera and said, "Gotcha!"
From then on, Sarah Palin demonstrated an encyclopedic knowledge of foreign affairs, economic policy, taxes, the environment and the novels of Alain Robbe-Grillat.
In what could be a related development, the same team who perfected the procedure which, as has been recently reported, enables Senator McCain to speak out of both sides of his mouth, are said to have performed the first successful brain transplant.

Sorry, PioneerKing, but the East Turkestan Islamic Movement probably does not even exist (there is NO evidence that it exists today, if it indeed ever existed), and the "Uyghur nationalism movement" certainly is not one and the same. Please visit the Uyghur Human Rights Project at: www.uhrp.org. Educate yourself.
Actually, if Biden can keep his foot out of his mouth (I know, it's hard) he may hold his own against this dynamic Governor.
ahh grasshopper your question is a trick "gotcha question"
as the Uyghur nationalism movement and the East Turkestan Islamic Movement are one and the same.
Palin wins as a result of the advances in theatrical / communication technology.
Palin is off testing the theatrical style earpiece that she will be wearing.
Palin will be wearing her hair down and sporting one of those tiny earpieces that actors and news anchors wear that allows them to be fed their lines.
On Thursday, take note of the 6 second delay that Palin will have before answering any direct question and while Biden is speaking she will be frantically writing notes from the responses that she will be fed to use in follow up questions.
Palin will also try to keep her head down quite a bit so that she does not reveal the eye roll that actors and news anchors sometimes do when they are being whispered to, their eyes will instinctively roll towards the side that the ear piece is in or they will have a slight frozen almost deer in the headlights look while they are focusing on what is being whispered to them. which is the real reason McCain kept his head down and turned away much of the night during his debate.
