I'm a new Boulderite and this is the first I've heard of these venerable traditions. Note to self: Must find excuse to be downtown shopping on the days of these events.... LOL
Generally the Boulder police are pretty sensible but I think they could find better things to do than prosecute naked students and cyclists. Why spoil the fun for everyone?

And here I thought Boulder was more open minded and liberal! Too bad the naked human body is criminalized!
That's what was missing from my last visit to the bolder county jail, lots of nakid frat boys.
