Feds Propose To Expand Jumping Mouse's Habitat

Federal officials are proposing expanding areas in Colorado designated as critical habitat for a tiny, threatened mouse. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service announced a plan Wednesday to expand the designated habitat for the Preble's meadow jumping mouse by 18,462 acres for a total of 39,142 acres.
