Maintaining a healthy work-life balance is becoming more of a challenge in this day and age, especially since we have the capability to stay connected to our work duties and overflowing inboxes via smartphone and tablet. But why not put those tools to use to help keep you organized and healthy? Here are some of my top picks for mobile apps that help promote a better balance in your daily routine:

1.LogMeIn
LogMeIn is a free service that lets you remotely log in to your computer and manage it. Did you forget to take home a file located on your computer back at the office? With LogMeIn's mobile app, you can access all of your computers right from your smartphone or tablet. The app will even let you control both PCs and Macs. LogMeIn is available for both iOS and Android.

2.CardMunch
We collect business cards practically on a daily basis, but who has the time to actually sit down and catalog all their contact information? With CardMunch, the app does all that work for you. Just snap a photo of a business card, and CardMunch will import the contact data into your phone's address book. The app will also let you reach out to your new business contact via LinkedIn. CardMunch is available for iOS.

3.Lemon
Speaking of cataloging business cards, cataloging receipts can be an equally arduous process. Lemon not only catalogs receipts, but it also works with credit cards, tickets, coupons, and more, so rather than stumbling for little papers while you're on-line somewhere, data is organized and available on your smartphone. Lemon is available for iPhone, Android, and WindowsPhone.

4.Simply Yoga Free
The app for iPhone provides you with a personal yoga instructor that fits in your purse, so to speak, so you can practice yoga when you want to. It comes loaded with 20-, 40-, and 60-minute video workouts, as well as individual poses and routines, all on your own schedule, wherever you want.

5.Sleep Cycle Alarm Clock
Last but not least, there is nothing more important to maintaining a healthy work-life balance than getting a good night's sleep, and who doesn't need a little help enforcing that? The Sleep Cycle alarm clock helps you by analyzing your sleep patterns, so it will wake you up in the morning when you're in your lightest sleep phase. This way, you can wake up more naturally, feeling refreshed and relaxed. Sleep Cycle alarm clock is available for iPhone.
