For instance, Debra and Ian Mishalove, co-owners of Flow Yoga Center (the studio pictured here), in Washington, DC, transformed one of their yoga studios into a shared workspace during the day; $70 a month for studio members or $90 for nonmembers gets you the workspace, plus scheduled yoga classes and meditation breaks. Soma Vida, a yoga collective in Austin, Texas, currently has about 70 members who pay $185-285 per month to use shared workspace at the studio. And New Love City, in Brooklyn, gives members unlimited yoga and access to an 1,100-square-foot workspace for $300 a month. "It's a win-win," says Jen Jones, owner of New Love City. "There is a collaborative energy that people who work in this space are able to tap into, and the additional revenue helps us pay our yoga teachers better."
