While visiting Cuba this past spring, Youth Radio producer Rachel Krantz witnessed an AIDS demonstration unlike one she had ever seen.

Adults and children filled the Havana streets in a effort to promote safe and healthy sex. Painted faces, side walk chalk, and condom balloons were all apart of the fiesta. With one of the lowest rates of HIV infection (.1%), Cuba is proud to be open and realistic about the issues that surround sex, and the younger the kids are educated, the better.
