Store your thigh-high boots and boyfriend blazers (at least, for now). This spring will be all about menswear with a more ladylike twist, and flats with personality and pizzazz. And when it comes to colors, bright yellows and spice shades like rust and olive are a must.

Deborah Lloyd, creative director and co-president of Kate Spade New York, suggests the Naomi Flats, for starters. These comfortable flats also feature an oversized flower -- another hot trend we'll see a lot of this spring. As for cooler spring nights, Lloyd says to consider the House of Mirrors Courtney Cardigan. "It's a great embellished cardigan that you can throw on with jeans for a casual weekend look or with a dress for more formal occasions," she adds.

Rachel Roy, on the other hand, believes -- along with spring's new trends -- you can still rock what you did last season, even last year! "Nothing ever really goes out of style as long as you never run out of ideas to keep things fresh and new," the designer explains. For instance, you know those staples you splurged on, like the lux white dress shirt in your closet or those designer bootcut jeans you invested in? You can certainly keep those for the new season -- just accessorize accordingly to make them more "now." Try a whimsical watch or an elegant ring to give the look a quick update.
