The way we currently use transportation is one of the biggest strains on our collective environment. Something needs to be done. Luckily it can be something small like riding your bicycle for a month.

Activist and adventurer Rob Greenfield thinks we can manage our transportation better. In his new series, "Sustainable Living", Rob shows that we can use transportation better and create an incredibly minimal impact as long as we're conscious. In his travels across America, Rob made a commitment to almost eliminating his transportation waste by using his bicycle to travel across America.

Like Rob we can #BeTheChange by altering the way we travel. You can start today by making a habit out of taking public transit. Right now, cars eject 4.7 metric tons of C02 a year. But you don't have to live like Rob to be better on the environment. You can ride your bike to work, join a car sharing program, or walk. The sustainable choice is yours to make!

Every Friday for the next 3 weeks we'll be featuring the next episode of Rob's Sustainable Living series. Be sure to follow along here on Outspeak, and subscribe to Rob's YouTube channel.
