To answer the question posed in the title - I am.

I've been jogging all week, monitoring my diet, stretching my calves and getting loads of rest. So if we happen to have a rumble in the racks over the last leather jacket, please know that I'm trained and conditioned to win that tug of war. Of course being physically fit is what H&M collaborations are all about. Remember the frenzied mass stampede that ensued over previous collaborations with legendary designers like Roberto Cavalli, Stella McCartney and Karl Lagerfeld?

Expect another round of similar retail mania as sought after British designer, Matthew Williamson debuts his first collection with the multinational retailer today. WIlliamson who was most recently the creative director for luxury label Emilio Pucci is renowned for his sumptuous, color drenched dresses. Of course all that color come at an equally vivid cost: hundreds and sometimes thousands of dollars for dresses, jackets and jewelry. Yet starting today, recession chic fashionistas can score clothes designed by Williamson for less than a fraction of the tax on his main line collection.

We're talking a regal, ruffled gown (shot in the ad campaigns for this collection) for about $400; a supple shark gray leather jacket for about $250 and a sexy jersey dress for under $100 bucks. In these tough economic times, these prices may not seem exactly pocket friendly. But just meditate on this as you too stretch your calves and get ready to storm the debut: you can buy now, sell on eBay later and likely make twice as much as you paid for these pieces. Now that's a style worth fighting for.
