Are you one of those people who is always thinking 'you should make time to go attend that new exhibit' at your favorite museum, but then the exhibit closes before you get there? Or maybe there's a museum you've always thought about going to, but just haven't found the time, or maybe you're not even aware of all the museums that are actually in your local area -- then Museum Day Live! is definitely for you.
This Saturday, September 24th is Museum Day Live!, an annual celebration hosted by Smithsonian magazine to help bring more awareness of museums across the country and to encourage new visitors to go inside and explore. The wonderful part of this initiative is that it is nationwide -- so museums all across America will be taking part in this event. Participating museums and cultural institutions will admit anyone presenting a Museum Day Live! ticket, and the good news is -- the tickets are FREE! Go through the steps below and you will be on your way to having a new and exciting adventure right in your own backyard.
