TGIF@ETP: Awake and Sing!

It's been such a festive week, what with Canada Day and America Day and all, that we can think of no better way to spend a Friday afternoon than celebrating people, bursting into song, everywhere. The New York Times' David Pogue is enough to inspire the feeling with his Frank Sinatra-themed paean to the glories of buying an iPhone. It's totally adorable, and the most endearing thing of all is that it provides the rare opportunity to hear actual New Yorkers sing as opposed to the many Broadway aspirants who wait on tables in the 212. Click here, and enjoy, before the Sulzbergers wise up and put it behind the TimesSelect firewall.

And if you're still looking for more musically-inclined brill content, browse out to Funny Or Die, who've gone and given Paris Hilton's jailhouse poetry the rock-ballad treatment it deserves. It totally is a process, a gift, and a journey. Don't stop believing!
