Satiric 'Debate Prep' Video Offers Advice To McCain

Tonight, in Hempstead, New York, we will have the last televised presidential debate of this election season. And really? Hopefully? The last televised presidential debate ever, why not? There's just one chance left to either get it right or screw it up. We are meant to anticipate some sort of moment where John McCain puts William Ayers right "in" Barack Obama's "face," per Obama's invitation. Should he not want to embarrass himself, he'd better have a good response at the ready!

John McCain has been said to have struggled thus far on the debate stage. That's where this video, produced by the Dharma Initiative, apparently, comes in, offering the Senator all sorts of satiric advice. Actually, it's not all bad! McCain probably shouldn't talk about the "fundamentals of our economy" being "strong." He likely would be better off steering the conversation away from his many, many homes. And there's no time like the present to acknowledge that five million dollars a year is enough to punch anyone's ticket out of the middle class.

Most of all, though, we like the advice on winking. It worked for Sarah Palin! What Republican candidate wouldn't want to instill confusing emotions in white men, ages 25-49?
