Jackson Cox, overseas at the U.S. Embassy in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, writes:

It was a thrill to cast my first-ever vote for a Democrat this morning. I have never been so excited to vote as I was today - it was actually an emotional decision. Not just because I was casting it in a country that has struggled to build a vibrant democracy after over 70 years of brutal Soviet control, but also because I was casting a vote for Barack Obama who will once again return America to that shining city on a hill that freedom-loving people around the world can once again admire and be inspired.
