European Union Might Send Troops To Stabilize Congo

European foreign ministers are discussing plans to send troops to help stabilise the situation in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

European foreign affairs representative Javier Solana said the soldiers would be a bridging force until the UN can send in 3,000 extra soldiers.
