It's Pothole Season: Over 1,300 Already Reported (VIDEO)

On an average December day -- last week, say, or last year, the worst pothole winter in a decade -- the city's Department of Transportation logs 300 new pothole complaints a day.

This morning, that number was over 1,100 a day, said Chicago Transportation Commissioner Thomas G. Byrne. And, he added, many of this winter's potholes are bigger than last year's record batch.
