Elisabeth Hasselbeck Visits White House: Son Headbutts Bush, President "A Good Man"

Elisabeth Hasselbeck enjoyed a private visit with President Bush in one of his final days in the White House, she told her co-hosts of "The View" Monday morning.

After being snubbed for the White House Christmas Party, Elisabeth and her family traveled to DC over the weekend, where they got 15 minutes alone with the President in the Oval Office.

Elisabeth described the President as "gracious" and said that he immediately took to her daughter Grace, discussing Barney the dog with her toddler.

She also said that her 14-month old son, Taylor, headbutted the President.

"Taylor shows his affection by headbutting people, so he also engaged in that with the President" she said. "He clocked the President in the head."

"It was eye-opening for someone who has even supported him to be in his presence and be able to comfortably talk with him," she said. "He is so not the caricature that we have been fed for so long. He is a good man, and I hope that people at least give credit where credit is due as he exits and this transition happens."
