Archbishop, Politicians Condemn BBC For Refusal To Air Gaza Plea

The Archbishop of Canterbury today added to criticism of the BBC over its refusal to broadcast a charity appeal for aid to Gaza.

Politicians -- including some government ministers -- religious leaders and senior members of the BBC's staff have condemned the decision, which has attracted around 11,000 complaints, not to broadcast tomorrow's appeal by the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC).
