Washington's Most Popular Tie: What's Behind This Week's Sartorial Sensation? (PHOTOS)

Remember how Secretary Geithner and Chairman Bernanke dressed identically for their House Financial Services Committee hearing on Tuesday? Well, Senate Budget Committee Chairman Kent Conrad got in on the act when he sported the same tie (in slightly different colors) for a meeting with the President on Wednesday.

Not to be outdone, Obama topped off this trend on Thursday during his online town hall meeting.

So which label is behind this sartorial sensation? We have not been able to identify an exact match online, but preliminary research points us in the direction of Brooks Brothers, specifically the $75 BB#1 Repp tie.

See how this investigation unfolded in photos below. And if you have any tips, please share them in comments.
